Your messages and requests
Information submitted through the forms, including your name, email address, message and invitation details, is stored in the website’s database so the author can review and follow up on your request. Messages and reader reviews are not published automatically. If you choose to consent to publication of your review, that consent is recorded.
Newsletter mailing list
When you subscribe, your email, optional name and consent date are recorded. Keep the unsubscribe link shown after subscribing. Newsletter sending is not currently enabled. When sending is enabled, every newsletter message must include an individual unsubscribe link. You may also contact the author to unsubscribe or request deletion of your data. Email is used for communication about the author, publications, articles and events.
Aggregate statistics
The website records daily page views and requests to download the sample and contents, without tracking cookies or storing IP addresses in its statistics. These are counts of views and download requests, not verified counts of unique visitors or completed downloads. Measurement respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
To limit repeated submissions, form processing uses a temporary fingerprint derived from a connection or email address and a time period. Expired records are removed when subsequent requests are processed and are not displayed in the statistics dashboard.
Google Analytics
The site does not currently use Google Analytics or its cookies. It uses the aggregate internal statistics described above, without a consent popup or advertising tracking.
Reading preferences
Your dark mode, text size and language preferences are saved only in your browser. Sign-in is limited to the author’s administration dashboard; visitors to public content do not need an account.
Deletion and enquiries
To request access to your data, deletion of your message or cancellation of your subscription, email info@salemalnuaimi.ae and specify the email address you used.
Access and retention
The author can review messages through the private administration dashboard after signing in. Hosting and email services process the data needed to operate the website and deliver notifications.
Copies of contact messages and book and lecture requests in the website database have a retention period of 12 months from receipt. Expired messages are removed when new messages are processed or the administration dashboard is opened; a separate scheduled deletion process is not currently enabled. You may request deletion earlier.
This period does not apply to an active newsletter subscription or records of consent to publish a reader review, which are used for those separate purposes.
