Scene 1 — An unexpected message
Grandfather Abdullah sees a message on his phone.
Grandfather Abdullah: “Salem, I received a message saying I’ve won a prize, and they want my card details.”
Salem: “Did you enter a competition, Dad?”
Grandfather Abdullah: “No, I didn’t. That’s why I thought it was strange.”
Scene 2 — Pressure to hurry
Ghaya reads the message with Grandfather.
Ghaya: “It says you must reply now, or you’ll lose the prize!”
Grandfather Abdullah: “They offered me a prize I never asked for, and now they want me to hurry?”
Scene 3 — Pausing to check
Salem sits beside his father.
Salem: “Let’s check with the organisation using the official number we know before doing anything.”
Grandfather Abdullah: “Yes, not the number written in the message itself.”
Scene 4 — Asking without embarrassment
Hamad: “I’m glad you asked, Grandfather.”
Grandfather Abdullah: “Why wouldn’t I ask? No one has to know everything.”
Salem: “Exactly, Dad. Any of us could receive messages like this.”
Scene 5 — The trick is revealed
After checking, they discover that the message is not from the organisation it claims to represent.
Salem: “It wasn’t from them, Dad.”
Grandfather Abdullah: “Then there’s no prize at all. I’m glad we checked before giving them anything.”
Scene 6 — Advice for everyone
Rashid comes in and hears what happened.
Rashid: “I received a similar message too.”
Grandfather Abdullah: “Then this is a lesson for all of us: if something puzzles you, ask, check, and don’t rush.”
